Make Reservation: First Gear

Get a taste of the theoretical and practical basics of safe winter driving in this short midday class. First Gear is an introductory class for apprehensive drivers or experienced drivers who simply want to brush up on their skills. Not recommended for new drivers, who should receive a full day of training (Second Gear).  

Included: One hour of classroom instruction, including video demonstrations and chalk talk, transportation to and from track, half-hour track and vehicle orientation and two hours of track exercises in all-wheel-drive vehicles with radio-to-radio instruction. This abbreviated class is offered on limited days from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Our industry-leading student to instructor ratio of 6:1 or better provides plenty of personal attention for each student.
